Blocker of K_v1.1 and K_v1.3 channels

鉀離子通道K_v1.1 和K_v1.3阻斷劑

Agitoxin-2 is a potent and selective blocker of the Shaker type voltage-gated K_v1.3 and K_v1.1 channels. inhibits K_v1.3 with an IC₅₀ value of around 200 pM and K_v1.1 with an IC₅₀ value of around 140 pM. This peptide toxin was originally isolated from the venom of the Israeli scorpion L. quinquestriatus hebraeus.
